Launched in 2009, this is one of the more recent releases from Guyana’s famous Diamond Distillery on the east bank of the mighty Demerara River. Made from spirit produced in the world’s last Enmore two-column wooden still and aged for a minimum of 8 years in used whisky and bourbon barrels.

Clear, dark amber.
Sweet cinnamon spice, hint of nutmeg, toffee apple, slightly treacled – almost Christmassy.
Rich, full-bodied with honeyed fruit cake, vanilla, toffee, creamy caramel, butterscotch, fudge and an orange marmalade.
Ginger and nutmeg contribute to the spicy notes, which are the enduring flavours in the long caramel, vanilla finish.
