    Artist Ralph Steadman first work for Flying Dog was for this beer’s label in 1995. He embellished the artwork with the simple phrase, “Good Beer, No Shit” so that’s how the label was printed. When it hit the shelves, the Colorado liquor board deemed it profane and removed Road Dog from the market. Read more

    Appearance

    Clear but almost opaque dark cola brown with a large head which quickly subsides to a very thin dotting of foam leaving lacing in its wake.

    Aroma

    Nutty bitter chocolate, caramel and dark roasted coffee.

    Taste

    Dry roasted nut palate with fudgy caramel, bitter chocolate and espresso coffee.

    Aftertaste

    Malty, charcoal, peat smoke influenced chocolaty finish.
