XO Insolent is made from first press sugar cane juice fermented for 60 hours at 14-20°C and is 100 per cent pot distilled. It is aged in a combination of 1/3 ex-bourbon barrels, 1/3 ex-sherry butts and 1/3 port casks. It goes into cask at the low strength of 72% alc./vol.

Clear, burnished copper golden amber with green tinges.
Huge hit of vanilla on the nose with white chocolate, muscovado sugar and marzipan.
Slightly sweet and delicately spicy palate with white chocolate and crème anglaise.
White chocolate, vanilla fudge and sweet white pepper.
