Distilled from fermented potatoes organically grown close to the distillery using a single pot still topped by a column. The vodka is named after Dr. William Blair and James Boyd Rafferty who inspired his son-in-law Barry Young to make this vodka with Prentiss Orr.

Appearance

Crystal clear.

Aroma

Earthy toffee and caramel with roast chestnuts and, we suspect, a touch buttery diacetyl.

Taste

Toasty, bready and nutty with a faint sweetness, crème anglaise, cracked black pepper and nubuck leather.

Aftertaste

Crispy potatao skin, buttered toasted muffin and black peppery spice.
