Appearance

(Clear, very dark red-brown (almost opaque) with a one finger beige head which diminishes to a thick ring of foam with moderate lacing.

Aroma

Burnt toast malty caramel with ripe plum fruit, subtle citrusy grassy hops and HP brown sauce/barbeque sauce spicy notes and stewed fruit.

Taste

Roasted malt, slightly sweet dried fruits and berry fruits, coffee and dark chocolate. Hop influence remains subtle.

Aftertaste

Malty cacao and espresso coffee.
