Review and Tasting

Sampled on 02/11/2012

Appearance

Cloudy deep amber with a long lasting thin creamy off-white head and heavy lacing.

Aroma

Freshly baked bread, cold tea, caramel and burnt raisony Christmas cake with floral and grassy hops.

Taste

Slight caramel and fruity yeast sweetness slightly overbalances floral grassy pine bitter hop bite. Full-bodied, bready and fruity with burnt sultana and raisons.

Aftertaste

Burnt fruit and caramel with lingering floral and grassy dry hops.
