Black Moth Truffle Vodka is based on neutral spirit redistilled gin-style in a small stainless-steel pot still with Black Périgord Truffle (Tuber melanosporum), named after the Périgord region in France. This truffle-flavoured spirit is blended with more neutral spirit to create Black Moth Vodka.
The brainchild of Paul Amin, who teamed up with Dr Paul Thomas, who whilst studying for a PhD in plant science became fascinated by truffles and now owns 25 truffle farms, mostly in the UK.
