Review and Tasting

Sampled on 04/05/2013

Appearance

Clear, coppery golden amber.

Aroma

Light smoke, smouldering embers and toasty oak with dried fruit, honey, fudge and nougat.

Taste

Intense but balanced with smoke quickly building, dry cedar wood, trademark sweetness augmented with rich berry fruit, vanilla fudge, peppery spice and light salt/iodine notes. Water reveals charcoal, tones down the honey and strangely amplifies the spice.

Aftertaste

Long finish fades with peppery spice, lingering smoke and cigar box.
