Named after the 18th century ancestor of the Wemyss family, producers of this blended Scotch. Lord Elcho, eldest son of the 5th Earl of Wemyss, supported Bonnie Prince Charlie and fought in vein at the Battle of Culloden leading to his being stripped of his title and lands and exiled to France. Appearance

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma

Almond, white stone fruit, milk chocolate and new leather with citrus zest, white petal flowers and toasty oak.

Taste

Pencil shavings, ripe pear, green apple and grapes with vanilla, caramel and nutmeg.

Aftertaste

Caramel, warming cinnamon and ginger spice with brazil nuts.
