Warner Edwards make their Rhubarb Gin using rhubarb plants originally grown in the gardens of Queen Victoria during the 1800s and now grown on Crown Estate property in Lincolnshire. They heat the rhubarb for a few hours in a pot still to soften the stems before pressing to extract the juice. Read more

Clear (but not bright) with some sediment, golden amber.
Tinned rhubarb and fruit cake with underlying gin – pine, eucalyptus, citrus zest and spice.
Stewed rhubarb, sultana – fruit cake, piney juniper, citrus zest and black pepper spice – the later, along with some acidity balances light sweetness.
Rhubarb pie, cracked black pepper and pine with lingering eucalyptus.
