Released in March 2016, this is the first organic 15 Year Old from the Deanston Distillery. Certified Organic by the Organic Food Federation, this whisky was aged in new oak barrels for 15 years in the distillery’s vaulted warehouse. Bottled without chill filtration and caramel colouring.

Clear, pale golden.
Zesty lime, green apple and floral lily with buttery milk chocolate, light honey, vanilla and fragrant white wine. Biscuity malt emerges with water.
Bready malt, salty light smoky bacon oak and rich light honey with sweet green apple, vanilla and subtle black pepper bite. More leathery with water.
Salty oak, liquorice, earthy new leather and biscuity malt.
Not so sure how much “organic” influences the flavour, but this dry, salty malt is made attractive by bready malt, rich light honey and sweet green apple.
