First introduced in 2008, each subsequent vintage release of this aged gin varies slightly in style. This third Citadelle Reserve was distilled with more violet, iris and grains of paradise and then aged for six months in 12 year old French Limousin oak casks previously used to age Ferrand cognac.

Clear, pale yellow/green straw.
Delicate juniper, faint lemon thyme citrus and lightly buttery old oak wardrobe with floral aromas, practically violet.
Soft mouth feel. Elegant juniper, creamy zesty lemon, vanilla cream, burnt pastry and dry delicate oak and spice.
Long lasting and round finish with lingering oak, lemon zest and a medley of juniper floral spice. The best gin I have sampled to date!
