Comment:

A rust coloured drink with a delicately sour flavour.

Origin:

Created by yours truly (Simon Difford) in 2001 and named this drink after the British Naval tradition of mixing lime juice with spirits in an attempt to prevent scurvy. This practice gained British sailors the nickname 'limeys'.
