½ fl oz Luxardo Maraschino Originale Liqueur
1 fl oz Freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
½ fl oz Chilled water (omit if wet ice)

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

Mint leaf

Comment:

This unusual Daiquiri leads with sweet maraschino and finishes with sour grapefruit.

Variant:

With gin in place of rum this becomes Seventh Heaven No.2.

Origin:

Named for Constatino Ribalaigua, who introduced Hemingway to the Daiquiri at El Floridita, Havana, Cuba.
