Orange zest twist (discarded) & Luxardo Maraschino cherry
How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker. DRY SHAKE (without ice) to emulsify and fine strain into chilled glass.
|2 1⁄2 fl oz||Bacardi Carta Blanca light rum|
|3⁄4 fl oz||Fino sherry|
|1⁄4 fl oz||Luxardo Maraschino liqueur|
|1⁄4 fl oz||Freshly squeezed lemon juice|
|1⁄4 fl oz||Giffard Sugar Cane Syrup|
|1 dash||Angostura Aromatic Bitters|
|1⁄2 fl oz||Pasteurised egg white|
Fantastically complex with notes of rum, maraschino, sherry and orange.
Adapted from a drink created in 2008 by Scott Ingram at MC Bar, Abode Hotel, Glasgow, Scotland. The name is a reference to the year when Facundo M. Bacardi established his first distillery.
