Comment:

A Wet Martini served on the rocks, sweetened and flavoured with a slug of orange liqueur.

Origin:

Created by Joe Gilmore to mark Charles de Gaulle's first state visit to Britain in the 1950s and named after the Cross of Lorraine, symbol of the Order of Liberation. The original recipe called for one whole shot of Grand Marnier.
