½ fl oz Freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
fl oz Vanilla sugar syrup
2 dash Bittermens Hopped Grapefruit Bitters

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

Pink grapefruit zest twist

Comment:

Vanilla infused vodka and zesty grapefruit with dry vermouth balancing and botanical complexity.

Origin:

Created by yours truly (Simon Difford) and named after Velvet Maker, the filly who won the 15:05 at the wonderfully named Fairyhouse racecourse in Ireland on 31st January 2015 - the day I first made this drink.
