Comment:

A riff on the Southside using cucumber – an ingredient originally inspired by Hendrick's Gin having recently launched when this gin cocktail was first created.

Origin:

Created in 2004 by George Delgado at Libation, New York City, USA – originally as a long drink. Christy Pope took the Eastside to Milk & Honey where this now popular straight-up version was created.

See our Gimlet cocktail page for more information on the history and variants of this drink.
