8 fresh Mint leaves
2 fl oz Rutte Dry Gin
¾ fl oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
½ fl oz Sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water)
½ fl oz Soda (club soda)

How to make:

MUDDLE cucumber in base of shaker. Add gin, lime juice and sugar syrup, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass. TOP with a splash of soda.

Garnish:

Mint leaf & cucumber slice

Comment:

A riff on the Southside using cucumber – an ingredient originally inspired by Hendrick’s Gin having recently launched when this gin cocktail was first created.

Origin:

Created in 2004 by George Delgado at Libation, New York City, USA – originally as a long drink. Christy Pope took the Eastside to Milk & Honey where this now popular straight-up version was created.
