|1⁄2 fl oz||G. Miclo Kirsch Vieux Eau de Vie|
|1⁄2 fl oz||Freshly squeezed lemon juice|
|1⁄2 fl oz||Groseille (redcurrant) syrup|
Bready genever is aromatised with sherry and kirsch while red currant syrup provides the main flavour with its richness balanced by lemon juice.
A riff on the classic Artist's Special, which is based on Irish Whiskey. The only change is to use Dutch genever in place of whisky – hence the name.
