This aperitif-style cocktail perfectly fits its name. That said, fans of Italian fizz will be interested to learn how well this spritz works when made with prosecco in place champagne.

Origin:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2017 by Fred Charlet at La Cabane, Strasbourg, France, who says of his drink, "The idea was to create a fresh cocktail made with French ingredients: Suze, St Germain and champagne: what else do you need to represent the typically French appetizer. May be a baguette and a béret, but that is not the subject here. I hope you will enjoy this cocktail and don't forget, a good French appetizer always match with French cheese."
