How to make:

STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass.

1 12 fl oz Rutte Dry Gin
12 fl oz G. Miclo Kirsch Vieux Eau de Vie
12 fl oz Giffard Cassis Noir de Bourgogne
34 fl oz Chilled water (omit if wet ice)

More burgundy than black but dark fruits of the forest dominate this medium dry cocktail.

History:

The name Black Jack traditionally refers to a water bottle made from air dried leather. When the leather was dried it tended to turn black.
