|1⁄2 fl oz||Triple sec liqueur (40%)|
|3⁄4 fl oz||Freshly squeezed lemon juice|
|1⁄4 fl oz||Raspberry (framboise) sugar syrup|
Reminiscent of a Sidecar and, depending on your syrup, well-balanced.
Adapted from the Cosmopolitan Cocktail recipe in the 1934 book, 'Pioneers of Mixing at Elite Bars'. This calls for "jigger Gordons' gin, 2 dashes Cointreau, juice of one lemon, teaspoon Raspberry juice", specifying the drink should be shaken and strained into "Glass No.4" (a 3½ oz goblet).
