Dave Mulder started working in hospitality as a flyerboy 11 years ago where he soon found out he wanted to be an entrepreneur in hospitality. He followed an entrepreneurship study and started competing in hospitality competitions.

In 2008 he became European beer tapping champion during an international student competition in Estonia. Soon after that, he won several prizes in cocktail mixing such as, 2nd International Calvados Nouvelle Vogue trophies 2010 and 1st National Championship Cocktails 2010 among many others. As the recipient of numerous international awards in bartending, he has grown into a dynamic team leader, mentor and trainer in high-end hospitality services.

He is well known within the professional bartending and food services community in the Netherlands as an expert in creating innovative cocktails & beverages.

Dave has been the leading bar manager at MOMO Restaurant, Bar & Lounge for the past 5 years and he has also served as a board member of the Dutch Bartenders Guild (Nederlandse Bartenders Club) overseeing cocktail competitions in Holland for the last 7 years. He has coached top bartenders from Holland in international competitions around the world including; Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Estonia, France, Cape Town, Prague, Warsaw, Copenhagen and Prague.

Dave comes from a musical and culinary family where expertise in the kitchen is the norm. His grandmother was famous for her cooking arts in Indonesia. She would let homeless children eat at her house and restaurants would ask for her recipes.

Collecting old spirits is one of his hobbies. Old Spirits Lab is specialised in Tastings, Trading amongst auctions and consulting and supplying to high end bars in holland.
