Named after the legendary goddess of the maguey plant, Mayahuel is a cocktail bar which celebrates both mezcal and tequila within an authentic Mexican-styled interior.

Mayahuel is spread over two floors. Rustic booth seating lines the wall opposite the bar on the ground floor with bare brick walls and hand-painted tiles covering the tables and between the ceiling joists. Dark wood and iron adds to the Mexican feel with flickering candles adding to the atmosphere. If you are able, grab a seat at the bar here and feast your eyes over the bewildering selection of tequilas and particularly Mezcals - one of the largest outside of Mexico. Upstairs features more seating under a huge spider-like stained-glass chandelier.

Mayahuel is in the very capable hands of Phil Ward, one of New York's best known mixologists and he and his fabulous team have created numerous cocktails harnessing the character of both Mezcal and tequila. Sustenance comes in the form of authentic Mexican tapas-style food.
