The Finsbury Gin brand name was founded by Joseph Bishop back in 1740 and is possibly a reference to Clerkenwell springs which was once the centre of London's gin industry and part of the old London Borough of Finsbury. Cracked black pepper spirit aromas dominate until dilution (to approx. 40%) reveals generous coriander, woody juniper and citrus.
Clean, juniper palate with cleansing coriander seeds (candied ginger, lemon and sage taste) , citrus and Angelica root (musky, nutty).
Lingering juniper coupled with its sheer strength of alcohol and flavour scream
