Set for release at the end of February 2012 and targeted at travel retail, The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve is aged in 30 year old Oloroso sherry butts, American oak and premier cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. The previous Dalmore Cigar Malt was discontinued in 2007.
Clear medium copper amber with golden highlights.
Stale red wine soaked sultanas with caramel, ripe figs, nubuck leather and thinly spread peanut butter.
Sherry rich palate with banoffee pie, tropical fruit, mild dry oak tannins and cinnamon spice.
Sherried finish with dry spicy oak, old leather, bergamot and heavy treacle.
