The producers of Val-Dieu Triple say that this triple pale ale was inspired by a monastic recipe from the Val-Dieu Abbey. Brewed by a layman in the right wing of the abbey, it is unfiltered and unpasteurised.

Cloudy, sandy amber with lasting thick creamy white head and glass coating lacing.
Yeasty overripe banana and pear skin with clove spice and demerara sugar.
A huge beer with an equally heady alcohol strength, yet quaffable. Clove, black pepper and a touch of coriander spice lead a fruity, malty, medium dry honeyed palate.
Malty, honey finish with lingering notes of clove and coriander.
