A Dortmunder style lager brewed from 100% by Sapporo. First brewed in Tokyo in 1890, the city's neighbourhood of Ebisu is named after this beer which was originally produced there. Clear, mid coppery golden with thin but retentive white head.
Malty nose with faint lemon zest and herbal aromas (slightly reminiscent of match box striking paper).
Pronounced maltiness the palate with creamy mouth feel and faint hop notes.
Lingering breakfast tea-like with slightly bitter tannins and faint lemon zestyness.
Closure: Natural cork stopper
