Chrome is distinguished from other Carling lagers by its low level of carbonation. Carling beer dates back to 1818, when Thomas Carling, a farmer from Yorkshire England immigrated to Ontario Canada and started brewing ale. In 1878, his sons, John and William, built a new six-storey brewery in London

Reseña y cata

Probado el 04/11/2012

Apariencia

Clear, mid golden amber with quickly depleting white head and light lacing.

Aroma

Hay, stale grass and rubber band-like nose is enough to put even the most parched off drinking.

Gusto

Light bodied and bland with almost no carbonation. What little flavour it has is far from tasty.

Regusto

There’s an unpleasant note of bad cabbage about the finish. The fact that the brewer chose a clear bottle so risking light shock should tell you much about this shameful lager.
