Distilled in 1997 at Clynelish and aged 17 years. This single hogshead cask was bottled in 2014 yielding 373 bottles. ‘Cayenne Cocoa Bean’ is part of a range of single cask malts from Wemyss (prounced 'weems') with names inspired by each whisky's flavour.
Clear, pale-mid golden.
Waxy, oily, apples, green grapes, lychee, vanilla and paraffin.
Red and green apple, green grapes, pastry and lemon/grapefruit zest with grassy notes.
Peachy, lemon zest with black pepper.
