Clear, pale burnt orange/rust with small persistent bubbles.
Strawberry jelly, red berry fruit, not quit ripe yellow plum, patisserie vanilla, sweets, dough and biscuit. Faint toffee and humbug.
Very full and broad palate. After the fruity patisserie vanilla nose, the entry is surprisingly dry and acidic, balanced by rich strawberry, overripe red apple and faint peach. Biscuity with faint humbug.
Dry, lightly acidic, lingering rich tea biscuits and strawberry jam. Fades with spearmint and humbug.
The suggests a light berry rich champagne but the palate is incredibly full-bodied, dry and complex.
