Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel is made by the same process as Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 but tends to be aged for 5½ to 6 years (certainly never less than 5 years and occasionally as long as 8 years).Seguir leyendo

Buttered popcorn with whiffs of almond oil, vanilla, cigar/cedar wood and a touch of bitumen and green apple.
Dry and slightly smoky with demerara sugar, dark brown toast, salty buttered corn-on-the-cob, white chocolate, hazelnut and sweet cinnamon spice.
Dry with more salty char-grilled corn-on-the-cob and lingering cinnamon and black pepper spice.
Jack's Single Barrel bottlngs vary greatly but salty char-grilled corn-on-the-cob and faint white chocolate seem to be commonalities. The best have have rich vanilla, honey, gingerbread, cocoa, espresso, spicy oak, cooked fruits and orange-marmalade.
