(sample barrel 15-3539, bottled 28/Jul/15) Clear, rose golden, amber.

Aroma

Buttered popcorn with whiffs of almond oil, vanilla, cigar/cedar wood and a touch of bitumen and green apple.

Gusto

Dry and slightly smoky with demerara sugar, dark brown toast, salty buttered corn-on-the-cob, white chocolate, hazelnut and sweet cinnamon spice.

Regusto

Dry with more salty char-grilled corn-on-the-cob and lingering cinnamon and black pepper spice.

General

Jack's Single Barrel bottlngs vary greatly but salty char-grilled corn-on-the-cob and faint white chocolate seem to be commonalities. The best have have rich vanilla, honey, gingerbread, cocoa, espresso, spicy oak, cooked fruits and orange-marmalade.
