Flaunt it baby, flaunt it! This bar is way too stylish for that but it does follow the catwalk theme in all aspects apart from their being no actual catwalk. And sadly no scantily clad beautiful woman strutting their way forth and back either.
There are, however, plenty of glamorous women, and indeed models here. That's true particularly during Berlin fashion week, but actually they are present at all times in the monotone black-framed prints that cover the slate grey walls. The name of supermodels also feature on the backs of the film director-style - though impossibly heavy - chrome steel and khaki green leather bar stools.
Clad in designer shirts and strides by the famous German designer, Michalsky, the bartenders are also modelesque and centre stage, behind the illuminated creamy mottled white onyx bar backed by a contoured chequorboard mirrored wall and chrome shelving loaded with crystal glass decanters super premium spirits.
The theme continues in the drinks menu where aptly named libations are listed under headings such as 'cat-walk', 'street style', 'vintage', 'haute couture' and 'pret a porter'. However, forget the theming and settle back for some great drinks such as the Smoky Negroni poured into a Lagauvulin-rinsed glass and one of the best Ramos Gin Fizzes I have ever had.
