I was relatively blown away with how good this Manhattan variation was. I recently bought the worst St George product I've tried, their B&E American Whiskey. Subbed it for the Highland and it was serviceable enough. But I immediately saw the potential in this recipe. Would love to try it again asap with either Oban 14 or Talisker 10. I crave more edge to the Scotch. Well done.

Really lovely and can’t believe how new this recipe is! Not to mention I live round the corner from Satan’s Whiskers.

Really lovely and interesting scotch drink. All ingredients serve to elevate the scotch rather than overpower it.

Lovely and evolving flavour profile. Spicy, bitter and smoky, using both highland and Islay single malts.

Surprisingly subtle, although we had only a blended Scotch to pair with our Lagavulin; and used Cocchi Vermouth Amaro. A very elegant cocktail. The garnish is essential.

Right on; very elegant and flavorful made with Cocchi Dopo Teatro, together with Glenfiddich and a nice peaty Bunnahabhain from Islay.
