It's certainly interesting, but I think the Cynar completely overwhelms everything else here. I get a fair amount of peat (which is nice, but I dunno how I feel about that when not combined with the ginger or honey or sour of a penicillin) and a teeny bit of cherry but mostly it's a /lot/ of Cynar. Maybe just not a drink for me, however much I like Cynar - but I definitely prefer it taking a back seat.
I find the original blood and sand a bit...muddy. The Bloody blood and sand is more interesting. This is also much more interesting but I think the negatives now are my own personal taste :)
