What amaro to use…a bit (well a lot) left field I used Jägermeister Orange and what a nice drink resulted. A bit sweet but the bitters helped.
The orange of the Jägermeister worked so well with the creme de cacao and the bourbon gave a smooth, vanilla edge.
Out of context, the name makes no sense... Used Maker's 46, Cynar, Tempus Fugit CdC, and Regan's... tasted quite nice and had a lovely, subtle, undercut dryness. (17 Oct 2024, 8:56a)
