Oh wow! My first Maid! Really love it - the cucumber is delicious, and surprisingly forward. I'll be exploring other Maids for sure!

As an aside, I do like it when recipes include the Strength and Taste Guide, and especially, the alcohol units guide. Shame this doesn't have that feature.

I made a cross between this and a Kentucky Maid using Jack Daniels Honey instead of the Irish Whiskey and honey instead of the sugar syrup. It was delicious.

My favorite cocktail with muddled cucumber so far, and was very good with Redbreast 12. I was thinking of how to serve it up, next time I'll try a 1:1 syrup at 1/4 oz with a long & hard shake. A great balanced cocktail where Elderflower liqueur doesn't dominate.

Very nice. Interesting blend of herbal flavors; the lemon doesn't dominate. I cut the syrup to 1/4 oz and added a dash of celery bitters and it was still plenty sweet. Made it with Dunville's Three Crowns Irish Whiskey (lightly peated) and Fiorente Elderflower.

Great cocktail. Very refreshing and flavourful. Used Bushmills and it worked perfectly. Cucumber adds a wonderful taste.

Made this with Bushmills and St. Elder; English cucumber... Mad expressive flavors, very tasty... But is it perhaps a tiny touch too sweet?... 5 ml... so much better! (15 Feb 2022, 1:27p)

I made this cocktail, following the recipe without trying to be creative, and the result was a very pleasant Irish whiskey cocktail. The cucumber balances out the sour from the lemon juice.

Great cocktail, perfectly balanced, refreshing and tasty!!
We have made it with Jameson as well as Bushmills and both whiskeys worked well.
