Far too sweet for me. I increased the whiskey to 1.5 oz & decreased the DOM to 1/4. I liked that a bit better. Not one I'd revisit, though. Not due to it being bad. Simply due to the fact there are so many more to try. Slainte

Great. Orange with a lovely blend of herbal and honey and strong spirit backbone. I served mine with ice in a coupe but I think an old fashioned glass would suit the drink best.

This was great. My second five star today. Smooth and none of the flavours overpower each other. Perfect for an evening sipping or as a digestive.

Hello, the correct French spelling would be “parlez-vous”, as in “voulez-vous”.... The drink itself is a lovely digestif!

I guess from a French speaker’s perspective it’s just that it looks like the grammatical equivalent of “does you speak”, added to the fact that “parle” is pronounced “parl”, whereas “parlez” is pronounced “parlay”, but it’s not like the French don’t mispronounce English or make grammatical mistakes as well... ;)

The spelling above is just as Chris spelt the name of his cocktail. Arguably makes it trademarkable, e.g. Absolut Vodka should be spelt Absolute Vodka.
