Dad's Hat is a bit dominant in this, all but snuffing out the St. Germain. Recipe as is could use a little sparkling vino maybe? Riffing off that b'fast/brunch comment below. The elderflower does emerge late in the aftertaste. Hmm, a flavor combo I would've never thought could pass as palatable. But somehow it's working. I believe I'll mess around with this one.
Nicely balanced! Floral up front then the rye and orange come in on the backend. Doesn't taste as strong as it is! I'd maybe argue this could be added to the "breakfast/brunch" cocktails?
