Tequila Stone Sour
I prefer a reposado tequila in this sour, but I'm sure others will argue for the freshness and purity of a blanco

I like this take on the tequila stone sour. The blood orange idea sounds really good, especially with the anejo float. Definitely something I’d try when I’m in the mood for something a little different from a regular margarita.

Wanted to bump this up a bit. Use Blood Orange juice as they are in season. Substituted the Agave Syrup for homemade grenadine to up the pink colour. For an additional punch put on a Anejo float. It was wonderful.

Delicious cocktail and perfect afternoon summer sip. 1oz blanco and 2/3 mezcal as an alternative adds a nice smoky twist.

No, the blanco would be too demure. Reposado stands its ground magnificently here.
