A nice and delicious twist on a dark beer. I used a 330 ml bottle of Tynt Meadow, which is an English Trappist beer - a English Strong Ale (presents similar to a Belg. dubbel, IMO). It was a very nice cocktail, some chocolate and dried fruit, and very smooth. My beer was 7.4% abv, so that lowered the total alcohol content to a more reasonable level. I think the beer should be a strong dark beer, like a quadrupel, imperial stout, etc - with some combo of choc, dried fruit and maltiness.
