Completely unlike the “cream sherry” cordials of my youth - we were permitted access to moderate tipples from a young age in our house. The raisin notes of the PX are very forward on the nose, more gradually followed by delightful drying, nutty and savoury qualities of the oloroso. The intense sweetness and gripping dryness continue to play off each other with progressive sips. Recommended.
