Due to our family name we tend to pick up on anything bee related. Got a bottle of this at the start of the year and it is very tasty, and looks stunning on the shelf. The only quibble would be I wish it had a higher ABV, it feels more like an expensive syrup than an actual liqueur.
I actually thought the same at first! But I tried it in a cocktail and it’s really interesting, quite unique actually. It’s made from honey wine, so it’s naturally lower in alcohol (11% ABV) and there’s no added spirit after fermentation. That’s why it’s got that smooth, softer sweetness rather than a strong kick. I think is an amazing product!
