Not bad I guess if you're out of gin. I made mine with a Lithuanian potato vodka, Stumbras. Nice mouth feel. After a few sips, added 10 ml Liquore Strega + orange zest (Witches Negroni), and a dash of Regan's orange bitters. Then it was gone. If I didn't know better I'd probably like this...the classic three part Negroni is a rather high bar.

Made this again using Blanco Italian Bitters and dry vermouth. Resulting cocktail was not as sweet. Again, I feel this cocktail benefits from sitting and letting the ice melt.

Great aperitivo. Having an Italian dinner, and started with this with some cheese and crackers. Very flavourful. The sweetness of your bitters will dictate how sweet your cocktail will be. Will try this again using the white bitters and vermouth.

I think this is a duplicate of "Negroski". Or, perhaps, one should link directly to the other?

My first try was with vanilla flavored vodka (the only one I had by that time) I loved the vanilla but it lacked the peppery hint of gin so I added a small squeezed zest of pink grapefruit. It is now one of my favorites.

This is perfect if you have a good Vermouth and good Bitter Rosso Liquor with a Vodka kick

Pretty much a boozier Mi-To, unless you use a top shelf vodka.
