Finally opened my new bottle of Rainwater Madeira. I believe I like the New York Flip or Coffee flip with tawny port better. Is there any reason this cocktail doesn't use a dry shake after the wet one?

It's an old recipe on our database that predated the dry shake. I've now specified this. Thanks for bringing to my attention.

Creamy, nutmeg on the nose. A little sour but it could be my medeira.
