Considerably sweeter, even a slightly syrup~y texture, with the aperol being the dominating taste. Delicious on a hot summer day tho.

Didn't love this. Found it to be overall too sweet and not that well balanced.

'Unusual' is a great descriptor here.
The Aperol dominates in what I feel is a less sophisticated Negroni.
It's very tasty though. I might have to try this again on a warm summer evening.

I make something similar but with Cocchi Storico vermouth in place of the Lillet, and a slightly higher proportion of gin. It’s become a standard in our Negroni rotation!

The description of a “very soft” Negroni is very accurate. Also it has a nice red-orange color when served up. Enjoy
