I didn't have any Byrrh so I tried it with Cardamaro. It worked but the vanilla from the bourbon came through a bit too much and barely any fruit. Guess I'll have to get a hold on some Byrrh because now I'm really curious.
A delicious holiday cocktail! I use a homemade Swedish Punsch (it's easy and, IMO, better than Kronan - search Uncle Pete and Swedish Punsch on YouTube). This cocktail has great spice (bourbon and punsch), plus delicious fruit (Byrrh and punsch) and is quite sweet (all 3 contribute). A great cocktail for cooler weather (or maybe year round in Scandinavia!)
