I have tried this with sloe gin and bullace gin and the latter is better. Bullace (wild plum) are common here in my part of Suffolk and make a lovely drink - for this recipie cut down on the sugar as bullace aren't as tart as sloes
Agreed. I've halved the original lime and cut the sugar by a third. The old recipe dates back to 2001, as does the pre-digital photography image. I'll also ensure this is rephotographed ASAP.
This is an okay drink, albeit not on the level of Greenfiled’s and Sedaka’s song, and definitely not as tasty as Connie Francis’ performance: “Stupid Cupid, stop pickin’ on me!”.
