Bars for Change Madrid
Borja Insa, the World Class Winner of Spain 2024, competed in the World Class Global Finals in September 2024, the World's premier bartending competition, where he made it through to the final Eight. He was also pronounced Europe's Best Bartender.
As part of the competition, Borja Insa responded to a challenge by Ketel One Vodka to create a Garnished with Good cocktail that wouldn't just taste good but also do good in his community. Ketel One Vodka is helping to scale Borja's impactful Bars for Change initiative by partnering with Madrid's bar community for a month-long Garnished with Good initiative.
With Borja's support and initiative as inspiration, Ketel One Vodka has partnered with 30 top bars in Madrid to join the Bars for Change initiative throughout October 2024. Each bar has created its twist on a Ketel One Espresso Martini, ensuring its cocktail not only tastes good but also does good. Borja has also created his own Espresso Martini, made with a cherry jam from Gardenier's Ecosocial Project.
Throughout October 2024, don't miss the chance to experience unique Ketel One Espresso Martinis in selected bars around Madrid (listed below) and at Borja's Moonlight Experimental Bar in Zaragoza. These cocktails taste great and leave a meaningful impact that matters to each bar, from supporting small neighbourhood businesses to creating opportunities for people facing barriers to jobs or education to partnering with local farmers for natural ingredients.
