Jody Buchan
A familiar face in the industry, Jody has been bartending for 18 years, from pubs to private clubs and even shaking drinks at 37,000ft Jody has done it all.
In 2017 he took the step from bartender to bar owner, opening up Kin in Edinburgh which quickly became a local hotspot and was voted 27th in the UK's Top 50 Cocktail bars. Jody's talents didn't go un-noticed and he was awarded both Scotland's Mixologist of the year and also Spirits Enthusiast of the year by the SLTN, as well has having drink recipes published in various publications including the late Gaz Regan's 'Joy of Mixology'.
Jody can now be found spreading the good word of Monkey Shoulder around Scotland in his role as Monkey Shoulder Scotland Ambassador which he has held since 2019.
